Research

Our research encompasses the design, synthesis, characterization, and testing of the functional properties of polymeric materials and material interfaces. We employ state-of-the-art experimental techniques to explore the structural, mechanical, wetting, and viscoelastic properties of these materials and molecular interfaces.

An exciting aspect of our research is the direct link between fundamental studies and applied surface science, enabling our work to contribute to the development of coatings and materials for applications in adhesion, anti-icing, anti-fouling, molecular sensors, and tissue engineering, among others.

We also host DTU SkinHub, which unites research, education, and innovation in areas related to skin and tissue adhesion.
