The award recognizes his outstanding scientific contributions within inorganic and coordination chemistry, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), and chemical synthesis.
Established in 1959 in memory of Danish chemist Niels Bjerrum (1879–1958), the Bjerrum Medal is one of the most prestigious honors in Danish chemistry. The medal is made of solid gold and has historically been awarded to some of the most influential scientists in the field.
Kasper Steen Pedersen is the first recipient from DTU Chemistry since 1979 to receive this distinguished recognition.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Kasper Steen Pedersen on this well-deserved honour!
