Professor Mossin’s research focuses on transition metals and the use of in-situ and operando electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR). Her group applies advanced spectroscopic and characterization methods to unravel reaction mechanisms, deactivation processes, and the electronic structure of materials used in environmental catalysis and sustainable chemistry.
During her time at DTU Chemistry, Mossin has made significant contributions to the Department’s research and teaching, and has played a central role in supervising students and junior researchers. Her appointment marks an important step in strengthening inorganic chemistry and catalysis at DTU Chemistry.
Professor Mossin has been appointed alongside three colleagues: Professor Luca Laraia, Professor Katrine Qvortrup, and Professor Wei Yan.
Susanne Mossin will give her inaugural lecture on Thursday, 22 January 2026, from 14:30 to 16:30 in Building 101, 1st floor, Conference Room 1. See the invitation here.
