I teach physical chemistry and my research lies within the field of the microscopic basis for chemical kinetics, i.e. molecular reaction dynamics.
We study the femtosecond dynamics of molecules and chemical reactions based on the laws of quantum mechanics.
The goal is to develop new methods and insights regarding the prediction, detection and control of molecular dynamics.
