Affinity chromatography can be divided into three main areas: Purification of
1) antibodies
2) tagged proteins
3) proteins binding specific groups of biomolecules
To get working knowledge of affinity chromatography for purification of tagged proteins please read and digest the following chapters in the handbook 'Affinity Chromatography - vol.2: Tagged Proteins'. Introduction (page 9-10), table 1.2 on page 15, chapter 6, appendix 3, finally skim through table 1.3 on page 16-17.
