DTU High Tech Summit is the leading research-based high-tech event in the Nordics. At this summit companies, researchers, students and startups meet to find inspiration and create value. High Tech Summit 2018 presents seven tracks over the course of two days on October 10-11, while high-tech companies and startups exhibit their newest products and ideas.

DTU Chemistry is responsible for two excellent contributions at this year’s High Tech Summit:

October 11, from 10-12: Exploiting advanced research infrastructures at DTU – collaboration and capabilities

Turning data into business opportunities through exploitation of infrastructures and collaborations. This track will present capabilities, discuss innovative access models, and how big data have an impact on the infrastructures. Focus will be on how DTU can exploit infrastructures and data to generate most value for DTU and society. This requires co-working and collaborating with SME and industry partners and other stakeholders, a potential key to differentiate and enhance a unique selling point.

October 11, from 13.50-15.50: Really Large Infrastructures (ESS, MAX V, etc.): How will large scale infrastructures move science and technology forward?

Medical treatment, material science, and biotechnology can all benefit from the new large international research infrastructures such as ESS, MAX IV and XFEL. The session will highlight potential high tech applications with focus on industrial utilization and collaborations.

The seven tracks for the High Tech Summit in 2018 are:
• Industry 4.0 & Robotics
• Big Data & Artificial Intelligence
• Internet of Things
• Smart Healthcare & Food
• Business Inside Technology
• Entrepreneurship
• Grand Societal Challenges
